Welcome to Serenity Acres Farms!
Having started life as a small hobby farm we have grown to be much more and are still growing. At Serenity Acres Farms we started with 4 goats and quickly doubled within the first few months. We have also taken in rescue animals and animals that were unwanted or destined to be slaughtered. We give them a serene home where they are safe from predators, fed well and are often spoiled with treats. With plenty of attention, love and care to boot! We currently have 23 goats of various breeds including: Alpine, Saanen, Lamancha, Boar, Nigerian Dwarf, and Nigerian. We also have 6 Julianna and Potbelly pigs. Three chicken coops housing 30 Chickens, 3 roosters, 5 turkeys and 6 ducks. We also have 3 horses. And of course our two barn cats. In addition we offer tours and birthdays at our growing farm where we educate visitors about the animals. The tour is 90 minutes long and offers feeding chickens, ducks, gathering eggs from the coops. The owners discuss how the chickens are cared for, what the breeds are and their history as well as educational facts about chickens. For the goats we offer feeding of treats, milking a doe, bottle feeding babies (seasonal), and petting in/out of the goat pens. At Serenity Acres Farms we sell goat milk products, farm fresh eggs as well as rustic home decor. We do a variety of regional shows including craft, home shows, farmers markets and more.
